Quantity Surveying AECOM - Johor

Job Summary 
  • Demonstrated as a Team leader role
  • Leading the team of cost plan estimate, preparation of BOQ, tender and contract documents, review and negotiate for Variation Orders and Final Account, etc.;
  • Interpret drawings and specifications to calculate project costs;
  • Attend  Client  and  consultants’  meetings  and  liaise  with  clients,  architects  and  associate consultants in the administration of projects;
  • Prepare  various  main  building  contracts,  piling  contracts  and  nominated  sub-contracts  for tender and contract formalization;
  • Measure and take off quantities for architectural and structural work elements, including reviewing and checking;
  • Administer pre and post contract work;
  • Assess variation orders, prepare interim valuations, cost plans and budget studies;
  • Provide advice on contractual matters including claims

Minimum Requirements 
  • Minimum of 15 year experience in Quantity Surveying Consultancy practice or equivalent;
  • Familiar with PAM 2007/ JKR’s requirements with be added advantages
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Highly motivated individual and able to work in a team; good coordination skill is an added advantage;
  • Good proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both verbal and written;
  • Good working knowledge of industry practices

Preferred Qualifications 
  • A recogised Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
